To keep all staff and customers safe, please adhere to the following protocols for attendance at the studio

This policy is in effect from Monday 19th July 2021 and up to date with UK Government guidelines:

  • If you cannot come to the studios, please opt to follow classes online at home if it is live streamed! Head to our HYPE at Home Program HERE. Live stream classes will be available to view and repeat online afterwards if you miss the start time

  • Only bring the bare minimum personal possessions with you, and do not use sweat towels to wipe down anything but yourself!

ARRIVING AT THE STUDIOS

  • Whilst face masks are no longer legally mandatory from the 19th July 2021, we request for customers and staff to please wear a face mask in the reception areas and hallways to keep everyone as safe as possible

  • Please ensure that you check in to the class register with the instructor or receptionist as this is vital for Track & Trace

WHILST INSIDE THE STUDIOS

  • 🦠 We are using ethanol and isopropyl based disinfectants which are medical grade. Hand sanitisers are available in the studio, and everyone is encouraged to wash their hands regularly

  • We have staggered start and finish times for classes in both studios, with gaps in between sessions to avoid large groups in reception areas

  • Face masks are not mandated during exercise

LEAVING THE STUDIOS

  • After class, you must thoroughly wipe down and sanitise any studio equipment you use using the sprays & disposable cloths provided

  • Please wear your mask in the reception areas after leaving class

Do not attend the studio if you are experiencing any symptoms or have been advised to isolate

If you have a positive Covid-19 test or need to isolate please send us an email with details of your test or a screenshot of your isolation timeframe from NHS Track & Trace, and we shall ensure that you are early cancelled off the timetable to over-ride our cancellation policy and avoid you being charged.

Please keep customers and staff safe,

and stay home until you have the all clear.

Keeping your Pole and Aerial Classes safe from Covid-19 at HYPE Fitness!

AERIAL YOGA: Each person to their own hammock and we have a special disinfectant spray for fabrics which will be used at the end of class. We also have two sets of hammocks which we are using on a rota basis for classes so no hammocks are used twice in a day.

AERIAL HOOP: We have suspended mixed aerial classes for now and switched them all to Aerial Hoop. All hoops have been untaped so they can be sanitised properly. We will allow two to a hoop but with one person on the aerial equipment for a portion of the class, whilst the other person is to the side (socially distanced) doing conditioning or flexibility work on their own mat. When the instructor signals to swap over, the hoop is thoroughly sanitised first and each person keeps to their own mat to maintain distancing and proper hygiene throughout.

POLE: As we already wipe down poles in between every use, then this will be very easy to maintain. We will allow two to a pole but with one person on the pole equipment for a portion of the class, whilst the other person is to the side (socially distanced) doing conditioning or flexibility work on their own mat. When the instructor signals to swap over, the pole is thoroughly sanitised first and each person keeps to their own mat to maintain distancing and proper hygiene throughout.

❗️ Please note that instructors have altered their lesson plans to reduce their need to spot people in the class and reduce physical contact. It is important that after a period of time off aerial and pole, that conditioning needs to be built back up so instructors will be encouraging people to go back to basics to build strength and flexibility.
